What you’ll do:
In this role, you’ll provide management oversight for specialized laboratory sections (such as Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, or Phlebotomy). You’ll face exciting challenges daily, including managing fiscal budgets, ensuring 24/7 operational coverage, and maintaining strict compliance with The Joint Commission and CAP standards. You’ll also play a key role in staff development, technical problem-solving, and strategic planning to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in an applied science (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry), Medical Technology, or Clinical Lab Science.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a clinical laboratory.
- Specialized Experience: Previous experience in a Hematology Lab is required.
- In-depth familiarity with accrediting agency requirements (The Joint Commission and College of American Pathologists).
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in staff management and operational oversight.
