Software Support Engineer
About the role
Join a Digital Innovation Team! A dynamic organization in Nicosia is seeking a Software Support Engineer to join their Digital, Information & Technology Department. What you’ll do:
In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing technical assistance to customers and internal teams, ensuring the smooth operation of e-commerce platforms.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and ticketing systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to integrations, APIs, and software components.
- Collaboration: Work with vendors, product managers, and QA teams to escalate and resolve complex issues. Collaborate with software vendors to implement new solutions that enhance user experience.
Testing & QA: Develop end-to-end test cases and execute testing at data, interface, and application levels. Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure product stability.
Improvement: Analyze trends in reported issues to prevent recurring problems and identify areas for software enhancement.
Training: Perform technical and operational training for users.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or relevant subjects.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of Web services, API integrations, and authentication services.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and database systems.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Microsoft operating systems.
Hands-on experience in all phases of test execution.
Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills, ability to multitask, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Languages: Strong professional speaking and writing skills in both Greek and English.
Advantages:

- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, or WooCommerce.
- Previous experience in e-commerce Payment systems.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages.
